Sadie Female
, 6 years
, 8.5 lbs
My new name is Sadie and my new life is great! I really love that I'm no longer going to be used as a puppy making machine but instead, my only purpose it to love and be loved by my human. I get along with other dogs and really need at least one other in my forever home, I don't get car sick and am learning to sleep in a bed which is a luxury I never had before! If you're looking for a sweet dog to rescue, I'm a good find! Sadie's adoption fee is $450. If you are approved contact Mary Lou: 570-639-2836 or mlspina@gmail.com.
| Betty Female
, 3 years
, 5 lbs
Betty and Sammy are an adorable pair who are such good buddies that their foster mom is hoping they can go to a forever home together. They follow their foster mom everywhere-- however, you had better have a big lap because if one gets picked up, they both have to be picked up, and they fall asleep in their foster mom's lap tangled together like rag dolls. Luckily, they are both small and don't weigh much, so it is easy to carry both of them around at the same time. Sammy quickly learned to sit and to jump through a hoop, and Betty is learning "down." Either one of these dogs is super cute on their own but, together, they are a dynamic duo of cuteness. If you are approved and would like to find out more about Betty and Sammy, contact their foster mom! If you are approved contact Janice: 717-235-7769 or yorkierescueme@earthlink.net.

| Jackson Male2 months

Jackson is a baby Yorkiepoo who came out of a puppymil where there was such an abundance of puppies like him that he either had to go or be destroyed. Adoption fee is $500. If you are approved contact Jen: 717-264-9799 or jenquigley@gmail.com.

| Tarzan Male
, 4 years
, 4.6 lbs
Ah yes, another little boy with a big name! Tarzan is just a smidge of a Yorkie who came from a breeding environment where he developed fear issues. He runs around with the other dogs and rides great in the car but he is leery of strangers and will growl or bite should the wrong person try to grab him. This little Ape man is as cute as can be but needs a Yorkie experienced mom to give him the home he so deserves! If you are approved contact Jen: 717-264-9799 or jenquigley@gmail.com.

, 3 years
, 6.8 lbs
Young and sweet Tippie finds himself looking for a new home after living in a few others. First, someone didn't have time for him, then he developed epilepsy and his new owner knew that he'd be best off in a rescue group. Tippie loves to play with toys, especially ones with squeaks in them, gets along great with other dogs and is a superb little guy. Yes, he takes 1/2 phenobarbital twice a day but that is no big deal! Tippie is worth the time and takes his pills like a champ. Apply today if you think he's right for you! Tippie's adoption fee is $400. If you are approved contact Jen: 717-264-9799 or jenquigley@gmail.com.
| Lady Female
, 13 years
, 11 lbs
Lady was rescued once when she was adopted from a shelter but now that her mom is too elderly to care for her, Lady went back to that shelter and was afraid because she didn't know where she was. Lady has aged gracefully however, like many who are older, her eyesight and hearing aren't what they used to be! She still has her teeth that are scheduled to be cleaned and enjoys a nice nap in the sunshine. Lady is a sweet gal who is looking for a special home to call her own. If you want to rescue a dog, you're in the right place and Lady is for you! If you are approved contact Jen: 717-264-9799 or jenquigley@gmail.com.
| Maddie Female

Paste this link into your browser to visit Maddie's page: http://home.earthlink.net/~lovelondon/maddie/
Sweet-natured Maddie is looking for a loving "guide person" to help her figure out all the things she has to learn now that she's not living in a cage. Maddie has spent her life as a puppy-mill dog and is just finding out what it is like to have enough food, so any extras like love, affection and attention go a long way with her. Still, even after everything that she has been through, Maddie is settling into her new life just fine and her tail wags and her big brown eyes fill with anticipation whenever her foster mom comes into the room. If you are approved and would like the satisfaction of helping this little one blossom, contact Janice: 717-235-7769 or yorkierescueme@earthlink.net. Maddie's adoption fee is $350. If you are approved contact Janice: 717-235-7769 or yorkierescueme@earthlink.net.
| Thor Male
, 3 years
, 2.8 lbs
Cute little tiny Thor was found as a stray and turned into the shelter. Waiting to be claimed, he spent over a week in pain as he pee'd blood because of the 12+ bladder stones he had. Once available, the shelter called Rescue Me to rescue him. Thor had his surgery on Monday, 6/16 to remove the stones and the analysis showed that the stones were a result of a urinary tract infection that had been untreated for a very long time. Little Thor is thin but his belly is so tiny, he can't eat enough food in two meals to sustain his body weight. He needs to eat many little meals throughout the course of a day so he needs a family who has someone who can be around with him. As he is feeling better, his tail is wagging and he is learning to live life without pain. This little precious boy needs just the right home! Thor's adoption fee is $650 If you are approved contact Jen: 717-264-9799 or jenquigley@gmail.com.
