PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING: We do not take inquiries from people who have not filled out an application. Pebbles is a special needs Yorkie who has a neurological storage disease. She is currently taking prednisone twice daily and needs to take that for the rest of her life. Pebbles can not be left alone during the day while someone goes to work as there are times when she has trouble walking and must be given a medicine to calm her until the issue passes. Her new home must have experience with special needs dogs as well. She is a wonderful little girl and will make the right person very happy but will always be a special needs dog. Formerly a resident of a Pennsylvania puppy mill, the world around Jasper is all new to him and sometimes, a little scary. He was bounced around a bit until he finally came to Rescue Me. Olliver's foster parents have already seen a huge improvement in his confidence level - he's very smart and wants to please. He loves to go for walks and is a snuggler extraordinaire. Olliver would do best in a dog experienced family with someone home, at least, part of the day who can provide him with a calm, adult-only environment and consistent, loving training.
